General soil amendment shall be 1/2" minus organic humus
product that aids the structure & fertility of the soil.
Product is to be composted by a State or County licensed
composter/mulcher for a minimum of 120 days at temperatures of 131°
to 150° and conform to Soils and Plant Laboratories, Inc. specification
guidelines for compost.
"Certificate of Compliance" is required from all suppliers
indicating that their product meets the minimum standards specified
herein and conforms tot he California Environmental Health Standards,
Article 7, Title 14.
Use a rate of 6 cu. yd. per 1000 sq. ft., rototilled
into top 6" of soil. Use up to 40% mix with original soil.
Chemical Properties Soils Test Report must be provided
by a qualified soils laboratory.
